LEONIE KRAUSSE / MANHATTAN UNIVERSITY
PASSION. PRECISION. PROGRESS.
From Germany
to College Golf
in the United States.
My name is Leonie Krausse, and I am a dedicated golfer from Germany with a strong ambition to keep improving and pursue my dream of playing professional golf.
I discovered golf at a young age through a talent identification program at school. What began as my first introduction to the sport quickly developed into a true passion. At just ten years old, I earned my golf course license and began focusing on developing my game and competing against other golfers.
My junior career was shaped by determination, international tournament experience, and important sporting achievements. In 2023, I won the Schleswig-Holstein State Championship and was named Youth Golfer of the Year by the Golf Association of Schleswig-Holstein. Competing in international junior tournaments across Europe helped me grow both as a player and as a person. One of my personal highlights was finishing third at the Crécy Junior International in Paris, where I delivered an outstanding final round of six under par.
In August 2024, I took the next big step in my career by moving to Florida to play college golf at Seminole State College. During my freshman year, I achieved several Top 10 finishes and was named Best Freshman on my team. After spending my sophomore year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), I decided to transfer once again to find the right environment for my continued athletic development.
Today, I pursue my academic and athletic goals at Manhattan University in New York, where I compete in NCAA Division I women's golf. Alongside golf, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management. Balancing collegiate athletics and academics allows me to develop both on and off the course while building a strong foundation for my future career.
I look forward to taking on new challenges, gaining valuable tournament experience, and contributing to my team's success. At the same time, I am focused on completing my college career and preparing for the next steps in my golfing journey.
My long-term goal is to continue developing as a golfer and work toward competing professionally. Every tournament, every challenge, and every new experience brings me one step closer to that dream.

My College
Golf Journey.
Every step forward is built on experience — from Florida to Las Vegas and now New York.
In August 2024, I moved to Florida to pursue my athletic and academic goals at Seminole State College. During my time there, I achieved several Top 10 finishes, was named Best Freshman on my team, and finished the season ranked No. 7 nationally in the U.S. College Golf Scoreboard.
I then transferred to Las Vegas for my sophomore year. Due to the depth of the roster, earning playing time was challenging, and I competed in four tournaments. To gain more competitive experience and continue developing my game, I decided to transfer once again.
I am now playing my junior year at Manhattan University in New York. During the fall season, I competed in five tournaments, recording one Top 10 finish and placing in the Top 20 in all remaining events. I feel very much at home at Manhattan and look forward to completing my senior year here and finishing my college golf career on a high note.
I particularly enjoy competing on the beautiful, challenging and often European-style private golf courses along the East Coast, across the New York, Philadelphia and Massachusetts regions.
I am currently ranked No. 1,000 in the U.S. College Golf Division I Scoreboard and remain motivated to keep improving and reaching new milestones.

THE ROAD TO PROFESSIONAL GOLF
The next
chapter starts
here.
My next chapter will be at Manhattan University in New York, where I will continue competing for the Division I Women's Golf Team while pursuing my academic degree.
My college golf journey will continue through the Spring 2027 season, followed by my senior year in Fall 2027 and my final semester in Spring 2028. I look forward to completing my college career and graduating in May 2028, marking the end of an important chapter in both my academic and athletic journey.
After graduation, my focus will shift toward professional golf. From October to December 2028, I aim to take on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour Qualifying Schools, with the goal of earning my place in the professional ranks.
This next chapter represents the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to my dream. I am excited to embrace the challenges ahead, continue pushing my limits, and take the next step toward competing professionally.
